Terral research scientists are developing hybrid corn with stacked biotechnology traits that will give producers the ability to produce higher yields, while being more friendly to the environment by using less herbicides and pesticides. At Terral, we see very rapid adoption of these new traits in hybrid corn. We anticipate that 60% to 80% of corn grown in the Mid-South in the next three to five years will have improved biotechnology traits, many with multiple traits. Simply, with these new hybrids, farmers will be able to produce more high quality grain per acre at less cost to the producer.
